From the Desert Palms Alice Springs you will be situated in the perfect location to explore the Red Centre and the township of Alice Springs. The Desert Palms is located close to the Eastern MacDonnell Ranges, and the gateway to Kings Canyon & Watarrka National Park, Uluru (Ayers Rock) and Kata Tjuta (The Olgas). Alice is also the home to some amazing heritage sites and attractions. These include the Alice Springs Telegraph Station, National Pioneer Women’s Hall of Fame, Royal Flying Doctor Service, Alice Springs Reptile Centre, Alice Springs Desert Park, Alice Springs School of the Air Visitor Centre, National Road Transport Hall of Fame, Fred McKay Museum, John Flynn Memorial Church, Adelaide House and the Araluen Cultural Precinct.

Larapinta Trail
The Larapinta Trail is without doubt one of Australia’s most spectacular and exciting long distance overnight treks. The Trail runs over 223 kilometres along the backbone of the West MacDonnell Ranges from Alice Springs west to Mt Sonder and is divided into twelve sections.

Alice Springs has some unique events such as the Alice Desert Festival Camel Cup, the Henley-on-Todd Regatta, Bangtail Muster, Beanie Festival and the Finke Desert Race.

Some of the adventures that can be experienced while exploring the amazing and changing landscape from Alice Springs include Hot Air Ballooning, Helicopter/plane flights over the spinifex plains, Quad Bike and Camel rides.

Explore Alice Springs, Central Australia and surrounding areas on one of the many day and extended sightseeing tours from AAT Kings, Alice Wanderer Centre Sightseeing, Emu Run, Austour and Wayoutback. A great end to the day is a didgerdoo show by the Sounds of Starlight Theatre, be inspired by stories and experiences that evoke the red deserts, the blue skies and the early explorers and Aboriginal custodians of this great Australian land.

Our backyard is the Alice Springs Golf Course and Club House. Visitors are always welcome to enjoy the Course, Clubhouse facilities and views.
